Santa Maria, California based, and long time Fusion fanatics, CafeFX had a blockbuster year in 2006 with four productions nominated for Academy Awards. CAFEFX add Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Departed, Pans Labyrinth, and The Good Shepherd to their list of fame.

Custom Film Effectswas founded in January of 1999 by long time effects professional Mark Dornfeld. CFE was started in just 700 square feet of shared space in Glendale with two employees. The company has since grown in leaps and bounds. Today CFE is housed in a 4,700 sq./ft
