Frameboxx Animation is an Indian Training
Institute, which offers specialized training for artists in
the animation and VFX industries. We recently spoke with
Sachin Bhatnagar, VP at Frameboxx Animation.

 |
| Q: Is eyeon's new SWAT
training program relevant to visual effects artists
today? | |
 |
Software such as Fusion offers immense creative
possibilities for an artist who spends the necessary time
learning the software and exploring all the available features
and different types of creative workflows. Such training is
vital to getting the most out of Fusion, and developing a high
level of proficiency with your tools is a major driver in your
professional growth.
|
 |
| Q: Why does software
training matter so
much? | |
 |
We live in a highly competitive world. With each passing
day, we're introduced to new frontiers in technology,
software, and workflows that aim to make our jobs easier and
faster. But of course, you can only take advantage of these
developments if you spend time learning the new systems.
|
 |
| Q. Why did you become a SWAT
partner? | |
 |
|
At Frameboxx, our core philosophy is driven around reaching
out to aspiring techno-artists and equipping them with all the
skills that they need to jump into the industry and create the
next generation of CGI content. We developed India's first and
only specialization-based curriculum, which aims to take a
student - who has completed his/her techno-creative foundation
studies - to the next level by focusing his energies on
learning a specific track. Fusion forms an integral component
of this nine-month course as the primary compositing
application.
By offering such an accessible training program on a
worldwide basis, eyeon is taking a giant leap forward and we
need to be a part of that.
|
 |
| Q: What is special about the
SWAT program compared to other training
initiatives? | |
 |
| The SWAT program by eyeon is, by far, the most innovative
artist-training concept since it takes advantage of expert
trainers and artists who have already built up their core
competencies in the software. So, they're able to reach out to
a whole new generation of artists who are learning to work in
Fusion and Generation as their tools of choice. |
 |
| Q: In general, how do your
Fusion students fare in the
workplace? | |
 |
|
In the past, members of our team (including myself), were
key in introducing Fusion into the Visual Effects curriculum
in India.
Since then, we've noticed a remarkable number of Fusion
artists entering the market, and ever more studios adopting
Fusion over other systems. It has become the tool of choice
for modern compositors.
