"In The Big Fat Kill, 350 of the shots took place in a rain storm. Fusion has a great particle system which exists in a full 3D world, where you can map imagery to the associated particles. We ended up with a completely controllable rain system that worked for 90% of what we needed to do. If we needed to run a custom type of rain, we could quickly load up the flow, adjust a couple of parameters and render it out again. The Fusion particle method saved on resources tremendously. It’s very artist friendly."
