Fusion At ATI Booth - IBC 2010eyeon Fusion 6.1 on ATI FirePro V8800

Eric Westphal demonstrated at the ATI booth during IBC 2010 in Amsterdam.

This demo shows Fusion 6.1 running in real-time for editing a 3D stereo scene using four displays running on a single FirePro V8800 graphics card. The two displays on the side let you see the individual right and left channels so you can work on them individually. The third display shows the 3D image output via the Stereo output on the FirePro, visible using the passive glasses.  A fourth display shows additional footage for compositing.

Fusioneyeon Forerunner in Supercomputing Environment

In keeping with our commitment to provide the world's fastest compositing system, we are proud to announce the release of a supercomputing development environment that supports OpenCL.

Industry partners have eagerly awaited the release of this developmental capability, especially as Fusion's new architecture supports a tremendous boost in speed due to GPU support.

"The software industry as a whole is embracing the value of using both graphics and CPU to accelerate applications, and AMD is pleased to see that eyeon is making considerable strides in this area. Eyeon's extensive application hosts a visualization-based supercomputing environment which makes it easier to develop OpenCL applications. Our customers certainly benefit when they can work with multithreaded software and hardware, and we look forward to the increased productivity that will result as applications leveraging both CPU and GPU hardware become more prevalent."
