In and Out With 3D
Coat and Fusion
Ilia Zaslavsky, is a
technical 3D/VFX artist from Israel and the author
of AppLink for Fusion 6.
"AppLink
was created using the Python scripting language,
which is built into Fusion 6. AppLink's idea is
simple but powerful, both 3D-Coat and Fusion
read/write text files with names and paths of the
geometry files, and textures it needs to output or
load in specific location, how to use those files
etc..."

Stuff
We Love...
Interpolate
a smooth
gradient. Fusion's
gradients are interpolated linearly and can make
hard transitions between colours quite
visible.
The
two methods described in this piece let you
smooth gradients, precisely control the colour
interpolation, and apply any interpolation types,
like ease in/out or
step.
