Quote of the Month

"At Flying Pig Ranch Studios, we have been using Fusion for over a decade.  It has become the Swiss Knife in our post tool collection.  As our projects become more and more sophisticated and challenging, eyeon has kept up with and even ahead of our post production needs.  I am sure if we removed Fusion from the mix we would also see employees remove themselves from our staff."

Pins and NeedlesOpshop's On Pins and Needles With Fusion

Opshop's music video, Pins and Needles, was created by Piotr Podermanski. 90% of the video was created in Fusion using v6.1's 3D rendering features. Piotr was responsible for the concept and all of the post VFX/3D work.

"I wouldn't do it without Fusion. I was able to get two seconds per frame rendering speed on NVIDIA® 9600 and an old quad-core PC at 1280x720 resolution, 32bit XP. Only the "crashing heads" were rendered in 3ds Max®. Over 100 shots were camera-matched, keyed, rendered, and graded in around 14 days. While having a terrible flu."

Super Crate Box Versus TrailerSuper Crate Box Versus Trailer Built With Fusion

"Originally when we set out to shoot this trailer, we were under the assumption that the version of Super Crate Box for the Winnitron was going to be basically the same as the version that you can download. The night before the shoot, we received a message that the game was actually a Versus style game!"  Read more here.

Time MachineThe Time Machine

Prime Focus created approximately 40 minutes of original visual effects for the highly-anticipated BBC project, Wonders of the Solar System. The five-part series, which was presented by Professor Brian Cox, used the latest scientific imagery and CGI to show how the laws of nature have carved natural wonders across the Solar System.

The team of 12-18 VFX artists mainly used Maya and Fusion to create the effects which included 3D models of moons and planets.
