enhancements, and supports a number of 3D stereo viewing
systems like OpenGL quad-buffering (used with most LCD shutter
glasses and passive stereo monitors), anaglyph, side-by-side,stacking and interlace
viewing.

Deep Volumes
Fusion is at the forefront of the next compositing revolution with its Deep Volume system. Rather than layering flat Images,
Deep images are volumes with depth as well and will merge with scenes correctly. With full a lighting system, scenes with clouds,
fog, fire, atmospherics and other simulations, can be interactively controlled. Accelerated by OpenCL, scenes can render in real-time, instead of hours.

Color Science
The importance of Color Science in Fusion has always been a paramount fundamental development.
Supporting integer and HDRI floating point color, industry standard color standards, like REC709, Wide Gamut and ACES,
working in Linear, Video linear or Log. 3DLUTs, Monitor calibration, plus Waveform, Vector and Histogram scopes.

OpenCL's open computing language is a framework that utilizes the massively parallel operations of GPU's for general computing to achieve blazing speed increases.

Fusion supports Open standards and Initiatives. Many Images formats like Open EXR, RED and QuickTime.

Primatte 5
Primatte is an Industry standard keying technology that is used to extract a single color background from an
image and create a transparency matte that allows the user to put the extracted foreground onto a different background.
The new features in Primatte V5 are quite revolutionary and will make keying easier and faster.

Metadata Tools
New Metadata tools make it simple to respect the metadata in a project pipeline, by providing tools for copying or inserting custom metadata to any image, and for merging metadata from multiple images.

Particles & Geometry
Fusion's ground-breaking particle system now allows the artist to use geometry as particle regions. Emit particles from the surface or interior of an imported FBX mesh,
make a primitive 3D shape which acts as an attractor, or bounce particles from any geometry, dramatically improving the particle interaction with 3D scenes.

Fusion supports Python 2.7 and 3.1 right within the interface, giving your scripting gurus the choice of using the built in
Lua or Python languages when creating Utility, Tool and Comp scripts.
