Why are these videos so large?

When working with Digital Fusion or DFX+, eyeon recommends a screen resolution of 1600x1200. As a result we felt it was important to create the media files as large as we could (1152x840), while still facilitating manageable download sizes. It is also very important that the artist following along can see what is being done in the context of the entire DF interface. We feel the final results provide a good balance of size vs. interface real estate and will make the tutorials more effective.
Why do the Bins not match my system?

The Bins setup is an artist’s preference. Setting up your bins is described in the 2nd Introduction tutorial. The artists can then mimic the Bin setup in the tutorial video, or customize the Bin setup to meet their individual needs. To open your Bin simply press CTRL+B on your Keyboard and drag footage from a Windows File Browser into the Bin # noted for each piece of source footage.
Why is some of the accompanying footage shorter than in the video?

The tutorial media files are approximately two hours long, plus the footage and flows included in the Edition 2 package. We intended to keep the file size manageable for the benefit of our clients. We have truncated the length of source clips provided to the users where possible, however this does not affect the artists ability to follow along with the videos and complete the tutorials.
What if I didn’t save a flow that is re-used in a later tutorial?

All of the footage and final flows are included in the downloads section. You can simply load any of the finished flows to provide a reference, or starting point for a later tutorial.
I’m on dial-up, is there another way to access the Edition 2 content?
