Digital Fusion 4 In Action!

Gothika - CafeFX Burns Up The Box Office

Gothika, (Warner Bros) a contemporary ghost story starring Halle Berry, Robert Downey, Jr. and Penelope Cruz marks the debut of groundbreaking digital fire effects created by its lead visual effects house CafeFX, a ComputerCafe company. CafeFX was the primary visual-effects house for Gothika, completing almost 60 VFX shots for the thriller, all of which went through Digital Fusion.

Digital Dimension Closes 2003 With Holiday Cheer Of Epic Proportions

Definitely the Christmas spirit is in the air and, as for Digital Dimension, gifts came early this year as New line Cinema, the studio behind the Lord of the Rings trilogy, called upon their team to create the visual effects for the new comedy, Elf. Digital Dimension completed over 90 visual effects shots, all of which passed through their primary compositing application, Digital Fusion, from blue screen removal to creating computer generated snowballs.

Digital Dimension concluded 2003 with a number of shots for the Tom Cruise epic, The Last Samurai. Dimension utilized the DF particle suite and grid warping function to create tremendous seamless effects.
