OpenEXR

Fusion 5 supports the OpenEXR open-source file format from ILM. OpenEXR is a floating-point extended dynamic range image file format that, until now, was proprietary to ILM. eyeon Software's Fusion 5 was the first high-end desktop compositing application outside of ILM to offer support for OpenEXR.

	Downloads

The OpenEXR plugin is currently a standard part of the Fusion 5 toolset, and is included in the current updates to Fusion 5. If you are running DF 4 and do not have this plugin installed simply login to your account in our database and download the latest update of DF 4 and the OpenEXR plugin will automatically be installed. Please note that this plugin is only compatible with Digital Fusion 4.01, DFX+ 4.01 and Fusion 5 or higher.
