New Fusion 6.1 Videos. are on eyeon's YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/eyeonsoftware, video tutorials for all compositing levels.

Introduction
Fusion Basic Courseware is a compilation of Quicktime videos that introduce you to basic and intermediate concepts. The tutorials start with an introduction demonstrating basic interface layout and operations. The following sections zero in to cover keying, expressions, tracking, particles, color correction, effects masks and animation in even more detail.

Installing the Footage?
The videos in this courseware assume that the footage and compositions are found in the C:\Program Files\Fusion\Courseware folder. If you have the Courseware DVD then you can simply copy the Courseware folder from the root of the DVD to the correct location.

All of the compositions use virtual paths, so provided you maintain the same directory structure they should locate the correct footage regardless of where on your system you copy the files.

If you are downloading these videos from the eyeonline.com webpage then you should follow the instructions found with each video, or go to the the download page  .

Section 6: Keying
Fusion 5 has multiple native keyers, each performing a slightly different function. Understanding when to use a certain keyer or keying function is fundamental to an artist’s efficiency and ultimately their effectiveness. These keying tutorials breakdown such processes as pulling a blue screen key in Fusion's Ultra Keyer, using garbage mattes and matte controls to help integrate a subject into a scene and chroma keying elements for use with effects masks.
